Our full name is Goldstone Media Limited but we’re better known as Goldstone. 

 

We are driven by a singular mission to make public services better through user-centred design and transformation. Formed from a wealth of over a century's collective experience in both the public and private sectors, we are an organisation that’s dedicated to enhancing the lives of people through superior service design.

 

Our approach is rooted in a deep understanding of the needs of our clients, their users, staff, and suppliers. We pride ourselves on our transparency, consistently working in the open to share knowledge, research, and code. This not only fosters better public services but also cultivates superior public servants.

Our Story: why Goldstone was created

Goldstone's journey began in 2016 with the establishment of the first Digital, Data and Technology team at the UK’s Department for International Trade. Our founding team pioneered the department's digital infrastructure, integrating legacy systems and building in-house capacity.

 

Since then, our roles have evolved across the spectrum of civil service, external contracting, and commissioning, contributing to a myriad of products, services, and projects. Our experiences working alongside some of the UK’s finest talents have been encapsulated in a single ethos: to create 'better'.

 

Better public services, better public servants, delivered by a better kind of agency – this is the essence of Goldstone.
