Client: The Pensions Regulator (TPR)

Context or Problem
The Pensions Regulator (TPR) identified critical risks with its landmark e-learning product, the Trustee Toolkit (TTK). The content was outdated, posing reputational risks and limiting promotional efforts. Further, the toolkit's authoring software was unsupported, lacking essential accessibility features. TPR's strategic goal was to revitalise the TTK to align with the latest regulations and improve user experience, particularly for small trustees transitioning from direct interactions to online learning.
What We Did
Approach and Strategy:
Goldstone, in collaboration with LearnJam, embarked on a project to redefine the TTK. Our strategy involved:
conducting comprehensive workshops with TPR stakeholders to align objectives.
undertaking a detailed review of existing content, technological capabilities, and user needs.

Advised on suitable authoring tools, with a specific focus on Articulate's suitability for TTK.

Developed a blueprint for a repeatable module design.
Created wireframes and storyboards to visualize the revamped toolkit.
Proposed enhancements to the use of Moodle, TPR’s Learning Management System.
Results and Impact
Delivered a comprehensive transformation plan for migrating TTK content to new authoring software.
Provided templates and workshop materials to guide TPR in updating the toolkit.
Conducted coaching sessions to build TPR’s internal capacity for ongoing content management and toolkit updates.
